Selection of outstanding contributors to science and technology 2024 (NICE STEP Researchers)

Japan's National Institute of Science and Technology Policy (NISTEP) has selected ten researchers for their "NICE STEP Researchers 2024" award, recognizing outstanding contributions to science and technology innovation. Assistant Professor Takahiro Yabe was honored for his research on urban resilience using human mobility data analysis. The prestigious program, which previously recognized future Nobel laureates, selected researchers across diverse fields including physics, biology, computer science, and linguistics.
